Kiln-dried firewood is wood that has been dried in a high-temperature oven (a kiln) to reduce its moisture content to less than 20%. This process ensures the wood burns cleaner, produces more heat, and lights more easily than traditional, air-dried firewood. It's ideal for a more efficient and enjoyable burning experience.

Logs are delivered directly to your location using our transit van. Upon arrival, we carefully tip them up on your driveway, garage or appropriate storage unit (based on our discretion and ease of accessibility), ready for you to stack away at your convenience.

We sell mixed hardwood logs. This will mainly include Ash, Oak, Beech, Birch, Alder and Sycamore. 

All our logs are cut to approximately 10 inches as standard, catering to most wood-burning stoves and fireplaces. However, we can cut logs to different sizes on request for an additional fee. We can provide a custom log size cutting quote once we have determined your log size requirements.

We deliver kiln-dried firewood to Staffordshire, Shropshire, West Midlands and Derbyshire, covering major towns such as Stafford, Stoke-on-Trent, Telford, Derby, and Walsall. There may be a Delivery charge depending how far you are away from our base in Hixon.

In addition to our kiln-dried firewood, we also offer large bags of kindling for £5 each. These are perfect for starting your log fire when combined with firelighters. Lit kindling help the bigger logs catch without the use of newspaper or other tinder.
